England defeated Pakistan by 93 runs in the 44th match of the ICC World Cup 2023 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, India, on Saturday and secured their place in the 2025 Champions Trophy.
This was England's third win in the tournament which helped them jump to seventh place in the points table.

India, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand are the semi-finalists of the World Cup and all four sides would be willing to give their all to make their place in the final of the tournament.
Sri Lanka have been officially out of contention for the qualification of the 2025 Champions Trophy meanwhile a win against India would help the Netherlands qualify for the 2025 ICC event.
Hosts, India will finish top of the standings during the group stage of the event regardless of the result in their final match against the Dutch on Sunday, with Rohit Sharma's side already locked in to tackle New Zealand in a knockout semi-final on Wednesday, November 15.
The second semi-final will be held the following day, with South Africa and Australia to battle for a place in the final on Thursday, November 16 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The World Cup final will be held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, 19th November, where more than 100,000 fans are expected to attend for the climax of the 13th edition of the tournament.
